ü The warmth of the sun: love, mercy, and guidance of God that never fails to humans.
ü Steam from the earth: human sinfulness.
ü Cloud: the punishment of God comes.
ü Rain - God pour out punishment.
ü Never obsolete: it speaks of God's provided sacrifice once for all, where He shed punishment is the death of Christ and eternal security for the believer (Heb. 10:14; Rom.8:1).
ü We must look to the rainbow; God will look at as well; we must look to Christ (Heb.12:2)
Submission of the curse and blessing (Gen. 9:20-23) - Noah's drunkenness

c. Japheth would be great but he will be subject to under the Shem.
d. Nimrod rebellion (rebellion), the son of the curse, which resemble hunter hunter souls turning people away from God and bring them to revolt (Gen.10:9).

Man in the world at the present time are doing the same, that is trying to unite all religions and nations (EU, USSR, PRC, etc.). This is the beginning of a great rebellion against God.
